    Its the same thing, in fact John recommends the stock sensor if you can't find a suitable place for the J&S bosch KS.

    Hey I did it myself, I left a long informative post here, but the server wouldn't let me post it????? If you have any questions pertaining to an LS install. Post your question to me. Oh, try and find the tip I did on the 6mm allen wrench you'll need. I'd also suggest installing the kit by itself first, it'll be easier to find problems and it takes 20 somethin' hours to install it with hand tools. take your time and read the instructions real well.

    I found a great spot to mount my knock sensor... Just below the oil filter, on the back side of the block.
